Dr. Lovas is a legal professional, personal transformation and success coach, certified mediator, and diversity consultant. Dr. Lovas attained her doctorate in law at Debrecen University, School of Law (Hungary) in 2004, and was a practicing family and criminal attorney until 2012.

Dr. Lovas moved to Canada in 2012 with her family, where she completed her master’s degree in Gender Studies at Memorial University (MUN). Her extensive work on women’s issues in business organizations led her to become a diversity specialist and to be invited to the 57th United Nations’ Commission on the Status of Women (UN CSW57), in New York City.

Dr. Lovas worked for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador as a policy and program development specialist. For years, she advised Ministers and senior government officials on important issues such as pay equity, gender equality, women’s empowerment, Indigenous issues, and human rights.

Upon becoming a certified mediator and trained life coach, Dr. Lovas started her own coaching and consulting business in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She has since been providing success coaching for ambitious individuals around the world and working with local businesses and non-profit organizations on advancing human rights and diversity in the workplace.

Dr. Lovas lives in St. John’s, Newfoundland with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she loves cooking and travelling. She is also an avid runner and book lover. And, being a life-long learner, she always seeks new opportunities to further the body of her existing knowledge on personal and professional development.
